Eligibility Criteria for Admission in Undergraduate Programs Fall-2023
Faculty of Engineering & Technology
Programs: Civil, Computer Systems, Electrical, Mechanical and Software Engineering
Eligibility:
Must have passed F.Sc. (Pre-Engineering), A-levels, ICS or equivalent/ DAE in relevant field for all Programs with at least 60% marks and 33% marks in entry test conducted by PEC approved testing bodies.
(Note:- For admission in above mentioned programs students must appears in state level entry test conducted by MUST as approved testing body from PEC.)
Mirpur Institute of Technology (MIT)
Programs: Architecture, Biomedical, Civil, Electrical and Information Engineering Technology
Eligibility:
For Architecture Engineering Technology:
Must have passed F.Sc. (Pre-Engineering)/ DAE (Civil/ Architecture) or equivalent with at least 50% marks.
For B.Sc. Biomedical Engineering Technology:
Must have passed F.Sc. (Pre-Engineering), F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) or equivalent/ DAE in relevant field with at least 50% marks.
For Civil & Electrical Engineering Technology:
Must have passed F.Sc. (Pre-Engineering) or equivalent/ DAE in relevant field with at least 50% marks.
For B.Sc. Information Engineering Technology:
Must have passed F.Sc. (Pre-Engineering)/ ICS or equivalent/ DAE in relevant field with at least 50% marks.
(Note:- For admission in above mentioned programs students must appears in state level entry test conducted by MUST as approved testing body from PEC.)
Faculty of Natural & Applied Sciences
Programs: Biotechnology, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science, Forestry, Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology:
Eligibility:
For Biotechnology:
Must have passed F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) with at least 50% marks. No D-Grade in academic record.
For CS and IT:
Minimum 50% marks in Intermediate/A- Level/F.Sc (Pre-Engineering) /F.Sc (Pre-Medical) / ICS, or Equivalent.
The students who have not studied Mathematics at intermediate level have to pass deficiency courses of Mathematics (06 credits) in first two semesters.
For Botany and Zoology:
Must have passed F.Sc.(Pre-Medical) with at least 45% marks. No D-Grade in academic record.
For Forestry:
Must have passed F.Sc. (Pre-Medical/ Pre-Engineering/ ICS) with at least 45% marks.
For Mathematics:
Must have passed F.Sc. (Pre-Engineering)/ ICS or Intermediate with Mathematics/ Statistics & Computer with at least 45% marks. No D-Grade in academic record.
For Statistics:
Must have passed F.A/ F.Sc./ I.Com/ ICS or equivalent with at least 45% marks. No D-Grade in academic record.
For Chemistry:
Must have passed F.Sc. (With Chemistry) or equivalent with at least 45% marks. No D-Grade in academic record.
For Physics:
Must have passed F.Sc. (With Physics & Mathematics) or equivalent with at least 45% marks. No D-Grade in academic record.
Faculty of Health & Medical Sciences
Programs: Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.), Doctor of Physical Therapy, Human Nutrition and Dietetics, Medical Lab Technology and Microbiology:
Eligibility:
Must have passed F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) with at least 60% marks.
Faculty of Social Science & Humanities
Programs: Arabic, B.A. LLB (5 years.), B.Ed Elementary, English, Economics, Education, Fashion and Design, Home Economics, Islamic Studies, International Relations, Media and Communication Studies, Sociology and Tourism & Hospitality:
Eligibility:
Must have passed F.A/ F.Sc./ I.Com/ ICS or equivalent with at least 45% marks.
For B.A. LLB (5 years):
Must have passed F.A/ F.Sc. or equivalent (as per University policy for BS or equivalent education) with at least 45% marks and have passed LAT as per the HEC requirements.
Faculty of MUST Business School
Programs: : Accounting & Finance, Business Administration (BBA), Banking and Finance (BBF), BS Commerce and BS Human Resource Management (HRM):
Eligibility:
Must have passed F.A/ F.Sc./ I.Com/ ICS or equivalent with at least 45% marks.
Faculty of Veterinary & Animal Sciences
Programs: Animal Science, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and Livestock Assistant Diploma (LAD):
Eligibility:
For Animal Sciences (4 Years):
Must have passed F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) with at least 45% marks.
For Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (5 Years):
Must have passed F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) or equivalent with at least 50% marks.
For Livestock Assistant Diploma (2 Years):
Must have passed Matriculation with Science as with Biology as major subject with at least 35% marks.

Eligibility:
For Botany, Chemistry, Physics and Zoology:
Must have studied the relevant subject with 200 marks in the last degree (B.Sc./ BS.Ed./ ADS or equivalent) and overall with at least 2nd division.
For Mathematics:
Must have studied Mathematics with 400 marks in the last degree (B.Sc./ BS.Ed./ ADS or equivalent) and overall with at least 2nd division.
For Statistics:
Must have passed BA/ BSc/ B.Com/ ADA/ ADS/ ADC (14 years of education) or equivalent with Statistics and at least 45% marks or CGPA 2.50.
Faculty of Social Science & Humanities
BS 5th Semester Programs: Economics, Education, English (Mirpur/ Bhimber) and Islamic Studies
Eligibility:
For Economics and English:
Must have studied the relevant subject with 200 marks in the last degree (14 years of education) and overall at least 2nd division or with CGPA 2.5/4.0.
For Education and Islamic Studies:
Must have passed BA/ B.Sc./ BS Commerce/ ADE/ ADS/ ADA or equivalent with at least 2nd division or with CGPA 2.5/4.0.
Faculty of MUST Business School
